Registration Micrograph Award 2010

2010, May 1st - September 30th

Condition of participation

All Raith electron beam system and Raith SEM attachment users can participate, except Raith staff members or Raith partners staff members. Submissions may be used for marketing purposes.

Multiple submissions

Multiple submissions are approved, provided that each submission covers a different application. All micrographs within a submission has to picture the same application. Every single submission requires a new registration.

How to prepare your micrograph(s)

1. Micrograph(s) to be evaluated

Save your micrograph(s) to your local harddisk:

Per submission at most three micrographs of the same application to be evaluated are accepted !

2. Optional micrograph(s)

Save optional micrographs which help to describe your application to your local harddisk:

A maximum number of five micrographs are accepted !

Saving parameters

Valid file format is jpg !
Maximum file size per micrograph: 1.5 MB !
Resolution 150 - 300 dpi (please avoid 72 dpi) !
No compression !

How to prepare your texts

1. Micrograph description

Save the description of your micrograph(s) in a file to your local harddisk:

Limitation to maximum 2000 characters (these equal 1/2 DIN4 page in Arial 12 pt)
Copy and paste the text into the registration form

2. Scientific motivation

Save the description of your scientific motivation in a file to your local harddisk:

Limitation to maximum 1000 characters (these equal 1/4 DIN4 page in Arial 12 pt)
Copy and paste the text into the registration form

In case of publishing your explanatory notes are not subject to editorial process - so please be so kind as to carefully examine them before you submit them!
